‘The Heavy Water War’ is a six-part historical drama series that tells the story of the race to stop Nazi Germany's atomic weapons programme, following the Norwegian resistance, Allied forces and German scientists. Filmed on location around Rjukan, Vemork, Gausta and Mæl in Telemark, the series brings the dramatic landscapes and authentic industrial settings of the original events to the screen.
