Vikings

Vikings transports us to the brutal and mysterious world of Ragnar Lothbrok, a Viking warrior and farmer who yearns to explore — and raid — the distant shores across the ocean. The series blends mythic Norse sagas with gritty historical drama as it follows Ragnar’s rise from farmer to legendary chieftain and king.

While the show was primarily filmed in Ireland, the production included select exterior scenes in Norway to capture authentic Scandinavian landscapes — notably rugged fjords and coastal valleys that reflect Viking homelands and enhance the visual realism of Norse settings.
