Number 24

‘Number 24’ (‘Nr 24’) is a historical war drama based on the life of Norwegian resistance leader Gunnar Sønsteby, the country's most decorated war hero. The film follows Sønsteby's transformation from a young accountant into the leader of the Oslo resistance during the Second World War. Filmed extensively in Telemark, including Rjukan, Vemork, Mæl and Gaustatoppen, the production uses many of the authentic locations connected to Norway's wartime history.
