The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Disgraced journalist Mikael Blomkvist is drawn into a decades-old murder mystery, uncovering dark secrets as he investigates a disappearance that has haunted a powerful family for forty years. Along the way, he teams up with Lisbeth Salander, a brilliant and unconventional hacker whose skills prove essential to the case.

Norway played a key role in the film’s international atmosphere, with Oslo Airport providing a realistic European backdrop. The Norwegian setting was used to convincingly double for Switzerland, adding scale and authenticity to the story’s globe-spanning investigative tone.
