Lapland

A recently widowed grandmother takes her chaotic family from Birkenhead on a Christmas trip to “Lapland,” hoping for Santa, reindeer and the Northern Lights—only for old tensions (and new misunderstandings) to erupt on holiday.

Although the story is set in Finnish Lapland, the production is filmed in Northern Norway, with the cast and crew flying to Tromsø and working in the surrounding Troms region.
