2016 – Film Camp

A young geologist sets out into the vast tundra of northern Norway to complete his research on meteorite craters, only to become hopelessly lost in both the wilderness and his own mind. The film is an existential exploration of solitude, ambition, and psychological unraveling set against an unforgiving Arctic backdrop.
Beyond Sleep was filmed on location in northern Norway, capturing authentic Arctic landscapes that are central to the story’s visual and emotional impact. The production took crews deep into the remote tundra of Northern Norway, reflecting the novel’s original setting in Finnmark, where the vast wilderness, midnight sun, and expansive natural terrain intensify the film’s themes of isolation and self-confrontation.
