Buskerud
Buskerud strechs from the coast to the mountains. The landscape of Buskerud is very varied, and ranges from undisturbed pasture and long, majestic valleys to dramatic mountains and wide-open plateau.
A large part of Buskerud consist om mountains and plateaus. In the south Buskerud comes down to the fjord and the sea.
The Numedal part of the county has 39 houses dating from the Middle Ages. And a protruding first floor on the street side and an open gallery at the back are typical features of 17–18th century towns in Kongsberg and Drammen.
